Installation

1. Measure and Plan

Confirm the required channel length, LED strip width, installation position, wiring route, and drywall opening before beginning installation.

2. Confirm LED Strip Compatibility

Check that the LED strip is no wider than approximately 12mm before installing it inside the 701 channel.

3. Prepare the Drywall or Plasterboard

Prepare the installation area according to the 701 profile dimensions and the intended position of the single upper flange.

4. Confirm Profile Orientation

Check the upper-flange orientation before fixing the channel so the profile is positioned correctly for the intended wall or ceiling installation.

5. Position the Aluminum Channel

Position the 701 channel in the prepared drywall or plasterboard structure and ensure the profile is straight and correctly aligned.

6. Secure the Profile

Secure the aluminum channel using installation hardware appropriate for the wall or ceiling structure. Installation hardware is not included with this product.

7. Finish the Plaster-In Area

Apply the appropriate plaster or drywall finishing material over and around the perforated flange area so the profile integrates cleanly into the surrounding surface.

8. Install the LED Strip

Clean the internal mounting surface before applying the LED strip. Position the strip evenly inside the channel and make sure it is securely attached.

9. Route the Wiring

Complete the required cable routing and maintain sufficient access for the LED strip wiring and power connection.

10. Install the PC Diffuser

Fit the supplied milky white PC diffuser onto the aluminum channel after the LED strip and wiring are correctly positioned.

11. Test and Complete the Finish

Test the LED strip before completing the final plaster, sanding, painting, or surrounding surface finish.

Installation Note: End caps and installation hardware are not included. The exact installation method may vary depending on wall or ceiling construction, LED strip type, wiring layout, and project requirements.
